Kathleen Devlin Flammer

SAVANNAH – Kathy Flammer died peacefully at Hospice House Savannah on July26, 2011.
Kathy was born October 9, 1946 at Camp Kilmer, NJ to Catherine and Ret. Lt. Colonel James Devlin. Her father's Army career afforded her family the opportunity to live many places including Germany while she was growing up. Kathy graduated from High School in Mount Lebanon, PA, and Duff's Business School in Pittsburgh.
Kathy married Bill Flammer in Pittsburgh in 1970. They lived in New Orleans, LA, Brunswick, GA, and Montgomery, AL before moving to Savannah in 1988. Kathy was an active and caring Mother. She attended St. James Catholic Church, was active in the Coastal Corvette Association, and was most recently employed as a Bookkeeper with The Landings Company. She will be remembered as a spunky, fun loving lady who was not bashful about telling it like she saw it.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years Bill Flammer, son Josh Flammer wife Tracey, daughter Laura McKenzie husband Neil, three precious granddaughters Sadie, Piper, and Ashlyn, sister Patricia Gillen, and brothers James Devlin and Robert Devlin.
Memorial Services will be held Friday July 29th at 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 8412 Whitfield Avenue. Interment at Catholic Cemetery following the memorial service.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. James Catholic School Scholarship Fund, 8412 Whitfield Ave., Savannah, GA 31406, The Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion, 225 Candler Dr., Savannah, GA 31405, or Hospice House of Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
